Hello fellow Electronintes!
After a short gap, and illness, we have been able to speak to past and present members of the Electronics Club and have come up with a slightly different approach. So what does this actually mean?
We are going to plan a club membership scheme where members need to pay a monthly subscription. The subscription will be £5.00 per month paid directly into the Charity account. The bank details will be on the new Membership Form.
The members will receive a membership card, access to our drop in sessions, which will be a minimum of twice per month.
The sessions will also change, in that it will be 1 hour 30 minutes, and although there will be project ideas available the aim of the club is provide a fun, and safe, self learning environment. Members will have help and assistance from other members on the projects members choose to work on. Tools / Components will also be available to use, which the majority will be free. But larger items that might want to be purchased will need to be paid for on the day, and the cost will be subsidised.
It will be down to members to decide their own projects to work on, or start new ones. Members might want to come along and just help other members on their projects.
What Frampton Electronics Club will provide is a place to explore, build, and test, in a safe environment.
New application forms will be available from Saturday 9th March 3:00pm until 4:30pm drop in, at the Brockeridge Centre, Frampton Cotterell. You will also be able to download them from the website in the next few days.
We hope these changes meet the expectations of existing, and new, members of the club.
